Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality on November 22 in Athens
Monday, Nov 21

The Success Story will be presented in one of the 3 events.

An important recognition after almost 3 years of work.

Next Tuesday, November 22, the Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality will present in Athens the way in which it exploited the empowerment seminars and the changes they brought in the organization.

More specifically, in the context of these two works realized through the Active citizens fund (Acf), “Mobile School Travels” and “Time to Talk”, it implemented 25 seminars in total, with experienced staff specialized in the Civil Society organizations.

The way it exploited the empowerment seminars is a success story and this success will be presented in Athens. The selection was made with strict criteria and only 3 organizations from all over Greece were selected by the Acf among dozens of project implementing organizations.

The event is held by the Bodossaki Foundation and is co-organized by the grant manager of Portugal and Romania during the week of November 21-25 at the “Electra” hotel, whereas it will be attended by representatives of grant managers of EEA Grants from several European countries.

“The Mobile School Travels” and “Time to Talk” projects are implemented in the context of the Active citizens fund program, with Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality as implementation body. The €13.5 million Active Citizens Fund program is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the European Economic Area (EEA) financial mechanism for the period 2014 – 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims at fortifying and strengthening the sustainability of civil society and at highlighting its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens’ participation in society and defending human rights. The management of the grant of the Active Citizens Fund program for Greece has been jointly undertaken by the Bodossaki Foundation and SolidarityNow. For more information: www.activecitizensfund.gr
