
MARIA GALANOPOULOU
Graduate of the Department of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with degree grade 8.71/10.00, “Excellent”. Since 2019, she has been training in the three-year educational program of the Greek Association of Dance Therapists. In the context of this program, she is currently carrying out her traineeship in the Department of Chronic Illnesses of Drama, with two groups of dance therapy for adults with developmental disorders.
Since April 2021, she has been working as a psychologist in the Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality, initially in the “Elderly Care Program” and since December 2021 in the “Time to Talk” project of the Active Citizens Fund. Since March 2021, she has been the project manager. In Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality, she has, among others, undertaken counseling sessions with elderly people, abused women and people in need of psychosocial support.
VASILIKI KAROPOULOU
Graduate of the Faculty of Social, Political and Economic Sciences, having Social Work as her direction, of the Democritus University of Thrace in Komotini. She completed her studies in 2020 by carrying out her traineeship in the Department of Chronic Illnesses of Drama and in a Kindergarten of Komotini.
She turned to Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality in September 2020 as a volunteer as she was impressed by the union’s work and wanted to contribute to it. In February 2021, she was included in the Union’s human resources as a social worker through the “Desmos for Youth 2021” program, implemented by “DESMOS Non-Profit Foundation”. Since March 2022, she has been working in the “Time to Talk” project of the Active Citizens Fund.


GEORGIA DIMITRIADOU
Graduate of the Department of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the context of her undergraduate studies, she carried out her traineeship in the Mental Health Center of Drama. Since October 2021, she has continued her studies in the postgraduate program of the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki titled “Psychological Applications in Health”. At the same time, she has attended many months of training in Special Education and Mental Health of Children and Adolescents, as well as seminars on gender violence and sexual abuse.
Moreover, since December 2021, she has been voluntarily active as a psychologist on the anonymous platform Psychoedu.gr. In March 2022, she started offering voluntary service in the Drama Ladies Union-House of Open Hospitality and since August 2022, she started working as a psychologist in the “Time to Talk!” project of the Active Citizens Fund.
SEVASTI CHATZIFOTIOU
Social Worker, Associate Professor of Social Work in the Department of Social Work of Democritus University of Thrace. She holds a degree of Social Work by the Technological Education Institute of Patras (1992) and has completed her postgraduate studies in Social and Community Work (MA University of Bradford, UK) and in social research methodology (MA in Social Research Methods, University of Manchester, UK). She holds a PhD in Help seeking among abused women in Greece, University of Manchester, UK, 1999. She has published a series of articles on the topics of domestic violence, women and children victims, abusers, as well as on topics related to social and racial inequalities, education, vulnerable populations, child protection, morals and ethics in research and social work, etc. She has published two books on Social Work and Domestic Violence (2005 and 2021 Tziolas publications), and has completed the scientific supervision of four other books on social research, ethics and domestic violence. Lastly, she is the President of the Committee on Gender Equality at Democritus University of Thrace and member of the Regional Committee for Gender Equality of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.


ANGELIKI ANTONIOU
Assistant professor at the Department of Archival, Library & Information Studies of the University of West Attica with specialization in “Adaptive Educational Technologies in Cultural Information”. She has many years of teaching experience (undergraduate and postgraduate level), is a course coordinator in the Cultural Heritage Materials and Technologies postgraduate program of the Department of History, Archeology and Cultural Materials Management of the University of Peloponnese and supervises PhD theses at the University of West Attica, University of Peloponnese, University of London (University College London). She is a collaborating researcher at the ATHINA Research Center and at the Department of Information Studies of the University of London (University College London). She has participated in many national and international research projects and has been a scientific coordinator and member of the steering committee of the European H2020 CrossCult project. She has numerous publications in conferences and international journals, but also organizes scientific conferences and the publishing of minutes. She holds a degree in Preschool Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Clinical Social Psychology (University of Kent at Canterbury, UK), a master’s degree (MSc) in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics (University College London, UK), a degree in Music , Piano Diploma, as well as a PhD in Educational Technologies from the University of Peloponnese, Department of Computer Science and Technology.
MANOLIS WALLACE
Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Peloponnese, Director of the Knowledge and Uncertainty Research Laboratory (ΓΑΒ LAB) and President of the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Peloponnese.
He has many years of experience managing educational and research structures from his previous career at the University of Indianapolis and the Foundation of the Hellenic World. Now he is bringing this experience to Tripoli and the University of Peloponnese.
