Friday, Feb 27

The Ladies’ Union of Drama – H.O.H. is co-organizing and participating in the 11th Panhellenic Festival Against School Violence, which will take place on March 4, 5, and 6 in Drama.
Specifically, on Wednesday, March 4, at 10 a.m., the team of the project “TIME TO TALK II,” led by the Dean of the School of Social, Political, and Economic Sciences of the Democritus University of Thrace, Ms. Sevasti Hatzifotiou, will present to the students and teachers of the 4th Primary School of Drama an educational tool with cards and pictures related to how domestic violence affects children and is then expressed in various forms of gender-based violence and aggression in the school environment . These cards are based on a Norwegian educational tool, which aims to help children recognize signs of violence in the family environment, express their thoughts and feelings, and inform a trusted adult, and to understand that this is transferred to school and subsequently expressed in various forms of gender-based violence. The action is being implemented as part of the Panhellenic Day Against School Bullying, co-organized by the Regional Education Authority of Drama, education advisor Alkiviadis Salpingitis, the Municipality of Drama, the Sub-Region of Drama, The Smile of the Child, the Society of Educational Sciences, the Teachers’ Associations, SEPE&SYKPE, and the Center for Addiction Prevention and Promotion of Psychosocial Health.
